On behalf of the President, Vice-president, and Secretary, we wish each of you and your family a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Be safe as you travel these Missouri roads, to and from your games during these wintery months.
The next Q-meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 2009 and we would like to see all your faces there.
Your Executive Board

A new year is upon us, all the sports programs, Basketball, Baseball, Football , Softball, Soccer and Volleyball are getting ready to start in the schools, the time to pull out your uniforms is now. Check them out so you will be ready on opening day, along with that getting the rule books out and brushing up on them will prepare you for the upcoming season. Rules meetings and mechanics clinic are also on the agenda and are a required part of your officiating business. The rules meetings and mechanic clinics dates are available on the association web site (see the link to left entitled "Calendar"), please make sure you are there.
The schedules are pretty well loaded in about all sports, if you take a game in any of them make every effort possible to be there on time, in the proper uniform and with the rules fresh in your mind. If that is done I am confident that we as an association will have a very good fall season.
For those of you that missed the last couple of Quarterly Meetings, elections were held in April, the results are as follows:
President T.J. Howden
Vice President Jim Earl
Secretary Chuck Lynn
The next Q-meeting is scheduled for October and I would like to see all your faces there.

With the majority of the High School sports being completed and the Holiday Season upon us, I wish to take this opportunity to wish all members of the association a Happy Holiday. If you are traveling, please take caution while on the highways and return ready to again take up the task of servicing the schools we hold contracts with. Special THANKS to all of the officials that made the seasons in all sports a success. Especially note worthy were all the members that continued to represent our association in various sports in the post season. District Softball, District Soccer, Sectional Football, and District Volleyball. A job well done and worthy of praise.
AGAIN HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON, Hope to see everyone at the Quarterly meeting on January 6. Basketball Part II will be conducted after the Q - meeting is completed.
T.J.
I would like to thank all who supported me in being elected to the position of President of the Waynesville/St Robert Officials Association and ask for the support of all members in making the association a stronger and member serving organization. We all need to start pulling together and let our petty differences go by the wayside. This is the only way that we can get stronger and create a better working relationship. We need to start recruiting at a vigorous pace to have officials available to administer the games that we have to offer, this should be a prime goal. I am looking forward to working hand in hand with all association members to accomplish this goal.
Respectfully,
T. J. Howden
